What started out as a fun project (and lesson in humility) in making her very first cake for her mother's birthday, turned into a full blown passion and career change (former interior designer) for The Cake Wagon owner and creator Trisha Nuckles. ​That was over a decade ago, and since then she's gained knowledge and training in the pastry world working for small bakeries, to upscale boutique hotels as a cake artist and loving (almost) every minute of it!  It was there that Trisha found her love for cake design, but it was becoming a wife and mother that ultimately found her on the path she is now.  Her goal was to encourage customers to step outside of the box and to not be afraid to try something unique and fun with their flavors...it is cake after all!  Wanting to create something that would allow her the freedom to be with her family, while also pursuing her passions, The Cake Wagon was born!
